Annual physicals, routine dentist appointments, consistent exercise, healthy eating... We are all familiar with experts' recommendations to support our physical well-being. Missing from this list is the importance of emotional well-checks. Committing to emotional self-care contributes to your physical health. Your physical and emotional state impacts relationships, jobs, school, and family life . Our preventive approach helps keep you physically healthy and emotionally secure. Even with preventative care, there are times when when we are met with challenges. This is an expected part of life. Anxiety, stress, depression, and loneliness don't have to be managed alone. Like a physician does with physical aliments, we tailor a mental health treatment plan specific to your needs.
As human beings we crave connection--it keeps us thriving and moving through life. We are living in a time of true disconnection. While technology seems to connect us more than ever, screen time disconnects us from nature, from ourselves, and from others. Connection is healing. It can lower anxiety and depression, help us regulate our emotions, lead to higher self-esteem and empathy, and actually improve our immune system. An important part of connection is face-to-face interaction. Come into THRIVE to connect with a specialist and reconnect with yourself and others.
Appointments will take place inside our office or in our outside patio space. We have created an environment with all of the comforts of home where you can sit back, connect, and get the support you need.
We are taking extra precaution to keep a clean, healthy environment. There is a well ventilated inside space as well as an outdoor space to hold sessions. Our office is conveniently located just south of down town Laguna Beach a few blocks from the High School.
“...the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.”
